Lifted Jeeps especially are prone to this. The suspension is out of alignment or track bar is loose, or in this case apparently her ball joints are bad. I haven't had it this bad. But I have had some small shimmys, most likely from my tires out of balance.

Probably different circumstances ,but we had a newer f-350 at work that used to do that whenever you were towing a trailer on the highway and hit a good bump. Scary as shit, it would almost yank the wheel out of your hand.
